A question I get asked all the time at this time of year is, "When will we open?"  I am as eager to get out there as anyone, but the snow and weather determine the answer to that question!

I do have this information though, in the 5 years I have been at the course, the earliest we have opened is the 19th of April and the latest has been April 26th.  So, while the outlook is looking bleak at the moment, I hope it will be somewhere right in that area.  Marcel has been working on the course already for the last two weeks, clearing snow off the greens to avoid winter kill, and setting up the pump ready to fill the water holes.  He will have the course ready for play as soon as humanly possible.  The greens do look as if they have come through winter really well!

As soon as the weather allows, and before the course opens, we wll have the driving range open.  Practice is always a good way to start the season!!!
